Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 September 2026.
What this service is
tgAtlas is an HTTP API that returns publicly available metadata about public Telegram channels: channel profiles, post feeds with the view and forward counts Telegram itself publishes, similar-channel recommendations, and public directory search.
Access is sold and metered through RapidAPI. Your plan, your quota and your billing are governed by your RapidAPI subscription.
Using the service
You may use the data we return in your own products, research and analysis.
You agree not to use the service to harass, profile or target individuals, and not to attempt to obtain private content: messages in private chats, data behind a login, or anything a channel has not made public. The API only exposes what Telegram publishes publicly, and we intend to keep it that way.
Do not resell raw access to the API itself as a competing API. Building a product on top of it is what it is for.
Rate limits and availability
Each plan carries a call quota. We may rate limit or suspend access that threatens the stability of the service. We aim for continuous availability and do not guarantee it.
The data
We pass on what Telegram makes public. We do not verify it and we do not control it. Channel names, counts and post content can change or disappear at any time, and a response reflects the moment it was made, nothing more.
The measurements published on this site may be used freely, including commercially, with attribution to tgAtlas and a link to the page the figure came from. The measurement date is printed on every page carrying a number.
Changes and termination
We may change these terms; the date above tells you when they last changed. You can stop using the service at any time by cancelling your subscription on RapidAPI.
